Nate Dogg’s ex-girlfriend, Shereda Williams, is continuing to fight the late singer’s family as she pleads for child support for their 17-year-old son, Jayden.

In 2006, Nate Dogg was ordered to pay Williams $4,358 per month in child support. However, after his death in 2011, the payments were reduced to $3,000 per month.

Williams has claimed that she has not been receiving regular child support payments from Nate Dogg’s estate. In 2023,she filed a petition with the Los Angeles Superior Court requesting that the court intercede on her behalf.

In her petition, Williams argued that she is unable to provide for her son’s basic needs without financial assistance from his father’s estate. She also claimed that the estate has been withholding information about its assets and liabilities, making it difficult for her to assess how much child support she is owed.

Nate Dogg’s family has denied Williams’ claims, arguing that she is only interested in getting money from the estate. They have also claimed that Nate Dogg was not the father of Jayden.

A judge has yet to rule on Williams’ petition.

The case has highlighted the challenges that can arise when a parent dies without leaving a will or trust in place. In such cases, the court must decide how to distribute the parent’s assets, including any child support payments that may be owed.

It is unclear how the case will be resolved. However, it is clear that Williams is determined to get the child support that she needs to care for her son.
